About the Founder
Built by a researcher who has spent her career turning program data into better decisions.
Yetunde Khadijat Olaogun is the founder and lead designer of NourishScope. She is a Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Community and Leadership Development at the University of Kentucky, where her work brings together nutrition, agriculture, data analytics, and program evaluation. She holds an MBA from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Animal Nutrition and Biotechnology (First Class) from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Nigeria.
Mission
Her mission is to develop, validate, and scale data-driven decision-support systems for nutrition, agricultural sustainability, and community health, so that the programs serving families with the greatest need can direct limited resources where they will do the most good.
Why NourishScope exists
Community nutrition programs make hard choices every year: which communities to serve, which lessons to keep, and how to divide a fixed budget. Those choices are often made with scattered data and informal judgment, and the pressure has grown since federal SNAP-Ed funding ended in October 2025. Yetunde built NourishScope to give program managers a free, transparent way to compare need, model budget choices, and document the reasoning behind every decision, without specialist software, accounts, or data-sharing agreements.
